Bio
Rochelle Pearson received her M.M. in Music Performance from the University of Akron where she studied with Andrew Jennings, Alan Bodman, and Stephen Majeske of the Cleveland Orchestra. She played in the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas, which toured S. America, Israel, and Europe, and performed at such venues as Avery Fisher Hall in New York City and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. She also played in the Florida Philharmonic and Naples Philharmonic. In her youth, Ms. Pearson played with the Portland Youth Philharmonic, which played a joint concert with the New York Philharmonic under the direction of Leonard Bernstein and toured the former Yugoslavia.
Ms. Pearson is a Certified Suzuki Violin Instructor and has been teaching privately for 30 years.
